Donald Wayne Wilson, 75, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.  Born in Laurens, he was the son of the late William Nye Wilson and Annie Lou Knight Wilson.

Wayne enjoyed listening to classic rock and watching television.  He was particularly fond of the History Channel.  Wayne liked to sing and dance and stayed active by walking nearly everywhere he went.  His favorite snacks were ice cream and Pepsi.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Renee Worley; his son, Joshua Wilson (Michele); three grandchildren, Jeremy, Jenny, and Julia Worley; a great grandchild, Benson Mathieu; and a sister, Sandra Wood.
