Barbara Kellett Maslow, 77, devoted wife of 56 years to Jim Maslow, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

Born on November 22, 1948, she was the beloved daughter of the late Calvin and Mary Kellett. Barbara is survived by her husband, Jim Maslow; her children, Brian and Crystal Maslow, Rebecca and Bill Arceneaux, and Elizabeth and Jeremy Adams; and her cherished grandchildren, Jordan and Wendy Arceneaux, Madison and Spencer Shaw, Zoe Adams, Rose Adams, Anna Ruth Thomson, Josiah Thomson, and Jonathan Thomson-Maslow. She is also survived by her siblings, Tommy and Anne Kellett, Michael Kellett, Jimmy and Patti Kellett, and Beth Kellett. She was preceded in death by her son, David Kellett Maslow, and sister, Sandra Gooch.

Barbara was proud to have been born and raised in Simpsonville, South Carolina. A graduate of Hillcrest High School, she spent the majority of her career owning and running Mauldin Barber and Style Shop, where she built lasting friendships and became a familiar, welcoming presence in the community.

More than anything, Barbara loved the Lord and lived out her faith each day with strength, grace, and compassion. She was a lifetime member of Standing Springs Baptist Church and made a huge impact through her Just Puppets ministry.

Her grandchildren and family were the center of her world. She poured her heart into each one of them. She had a kind spirit and a way of making people feel seen and cared for. Her grandchildren and family will miss her greatly.

Barbara will be deeply missed, but her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace in the presence of her Savior. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will live on in all who knew her.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will begin at 12 noon Saturday, May 2nd, at Standing Springs Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
