Matthew Christopher “Matt” Reeves, 51, of Enoree, SC, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Matt was born in Athens, GA to Nancy H. McCarley and Mickey Earl Reeves. He was a graduate of Glynn Academy in Brunswick, GA. Matt enjoyed playing board games, watching Star Wars movies, as well as Star Wars collectibles.  He loved animals, especially his fur-babies, Cosmo and Jasper. Most of all, he loved time spent with his niece and nephew, Georgia and Preston, as well as his family and friends.

Matt is survived by his mother, Nancy McCarley; father, Mickey Reeves; a brother, William “Bill” Reeves with wife Brandi and their children, Georgia and Preston Reeves; his aunts and uncles, Katrina and Joe McCarley; Patricia Mullis; Susan McCarley; Peggy and Donnie Reeves; and a special “aunt”, Sharon Stringer. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Marguerite and Hugh McCarley; paternal grandparents, Hassie and Preston Reeves; and his uncle Smitty McCarley.

A celebration of Matt’s life will be held on what would have been his 52nd Birthday, June 26, 2026. The location and time will be announced.
