June Helen Bagwell, 87, wife to Clyde Thompson Bagwell, Jr. for 30 years, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

Mrs. Bagwell was born in Valley Stream, NY to the late Micheal Dalto and Helen Lamonica Dalto.  She was a member of Fountain Inn First Baptist Church and the June Roper Sunday School Class.  June owned and operated an antique boutique for several years.  She enjoyed music, cooking, trips to Cherokee, and sports.  Her greatest joy was being Nana and Miss June to her grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three sons, Guy Capo with wife Denise, Kevin Capo with wife Sandy, and Tommy Bagwell with wife Julie; a daughter, Wendy Lyons with husband Jeff; nine grandchildren, Aly Fankhouse with husband Ryan, Michael Capo with wife Ashtin, Heather Capo, Cameron Bagwell with wife Mary Grace, Jessica Walls with husband Michael, Jenny Bohnenberger with husband Luke, Rebecca Edwards with husband Justin, Samantha McCraw with husband Dr. Logan, and Corrie Williams with husband Thomas; and nine great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son, Bruce Capo; and a brother, Guy “Butch” Dalto.

Visitation will be 5 – 7 o’clock Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

A celebration of June’s life will begin at 1 o’clock Wednesday in the chapel of Fletcher Funeral Service.  Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park.
