DeEtte Small Morgan, 86, widow of Gilbert Benjamin Morgan, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 29, 2026 at 3:33pm.

Mrs. Morgan was born in Georgetown, SC to the late Allie Lee Small and Mattie May Elmore Small. She was a vocal major and enjoyed participating in the Greenville Little Theatre, where she received an Oscar. She was a member at Evangel Cathedral, where she and her husband did inner healing counseling. She earned a Doctorate from Christian Life School of Theology. Having an entrepreneur spirit, she directed church music, and established business’ in antiques, interior design, and jewelry. She loved the Lord, her family, and being a grandmother.

Surviving, are a daughter, Lisa De Norris with husband Michael; five grandchildren, Tiffany Norris, Olivia Norris, Patrick Norris, Michaela Ceballos, and Avery Norris; six great-grandchildren, Logan Norris, Nora Fowler, Jaxon Ceballos, Alayna Norris, Roman Norris, and Peter Norris; and three siblings, Bubba Small, Judy Lambert, and Wanda Salvatore. She was predeceased by a brother, Carlos Small.

A celebration of DeEtte’s life will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Overbrook Baptist Church. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 PM as well as after the service. The burial will be at MJ Dolly Cooper Veteran’s Cemetery at a future date.
