Joseph Bryan Floyd, 61, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

Mr. Floyd was born in Columbia to Marian Grace Cooley Floyd and the late Joseph Purdee Floyd. He was a member of Bethabara Baptist Church and formerly of Warrior Creek Baptist Church. Bryan enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. His greatest enjoyment came in being “Papa” to his grandson.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his fiancée, Sherry Robbs; a son, Joseph Floyd, Jr.; grandson, Josiah Floyd; and brother, Keith Floyd. He was predeceased by a son, Matthew Floyd; and sister-in-law, Lucille Floyd.

A celebration of Bryan’s life will be held 2 o’clock, Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Phil Cook. The family will receive friends immediately following.
