Jason William Barber, 52, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.  Born in Rutland, VT, he was the son of John Robert Barber and Charlotte Ellen Drew Barber.

Jason graduated from Granville High School in New York and went to work in the mortgage business until retiring in 2021.  Jason was a true patriot and a huge supporter of the MAGA movement.  He enjoyed fishing when he could find the time.  Jason loved cooking on the smoker and spending time with his family.  Jason took great pride in being a “Papa” to his two grandchildren.

Jason is survived by three sons, Nicholas Zeller, Brandon Barber, and Ryan Barber; a stepson, Enrico Berardi; two daughters, Harlie Parsons (Patrick) and Lily Barber; two grandchildren, Odin Parsons and Levi Leonard; and the mother of his children, Stephanie Bryant Barber.

A celebration of life will be on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Sherby’s Pub; 33D Ray E. Talley Court, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
