Obituary of Brenda Faye Smith

Brenda Faye Grant Smith, 71, widow of John Larry Smith, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.

Mrs. Smith was born in Pickens to the late Sonley Leland Grant and Avaleen Frances Day Grant.  She was the co-owner of Ye Olde Beauty Salon and a volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels.  She was a member of Simpsonville First Baptist Church and enjoyed golfing, shopping, and trips to the mountains.  Brenda loved being “Brens” to her grandkids.

Surviving are a son, Vic Smith and wife Carlee; a daughter, Shannon Knutti and husband David; a brother, Steve Grant and wife Pam; and six granddaughters, Sydney Smith, Emma Smith, Brynlee Smith, Caroline Knutti, Sarah Knutti, and Jenny Knutti.  She was predeceased by a sister, Elaine Grant.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Cannon Memorial Park, officiated by Dr. Wayne Bray.
