Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Worthy Peeler

Mary Worthy Peeler of Fountain Inn, SC entered Heaven’s Gates on January 25, 2019.

Formerly of Gaffney, SC, she was the son of the late James C. and Marguerite Sanders Worthy.   She was a loving mother, sister and friend to many, and a special grandmother to her two grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Ann Peeler, and Joyce Whitaker and her husband Terry; two loving grandchildren, Maria Whitaker, and Dawson Whitaker, all of Greer, SC; a brother, Wayne Worthy and his wife Judy of Simpsonville, and sister-in-law Ann L. Worthy of Simpsonville.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Floyd Worthy of Simpsonville.

Funeral services will be at Noon on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Five Forks Baptist Church in Simpsonville, SC, officiated by Rev. Howard Foster.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
