Heaven has gained one great fella. We shared many laughs with our new found friends a couple of years ago in St. Maarten. All of us had VIP service complete with a butler that would reserve chairs poolside, make dinner reservations, etc.—and most of the time, Michael helped us navigate what to do—but most importantly, he was always ready with the old school cellphone (which may/may not have been used to call Domino’s). Our time on St. Maarten was so short, but I had no doubt that we made forever friends with the Cogsdales. Our hearts are broken for the laughs and times we have yet to share—but so thankful for the ones we did. Sending my love, thoughts and prayers to Stephanie and all that loved Michael. Until we meet again, we shall wear our Lazy Lizard t shirts proudly and always laugh and think of you when JJ’s flip flop blows out. ((Hugs))

For the time I have known Michael, he was always so kind and helpful. it was a pleasure to work with him and talk to him. Michael always had the best attitude and he will truly be missed. Dear Steph and Family, I was so shocked when the first thing I saw on my computer that your sweet husband and my friends obituary. I was so shocked because no one had called and told me. You and your sweet family are in my thoughts and prayers.I pray a special prayer for you because I know what you are going through right now as I have been through losing two of my mates. Michael was my travel agent, and he was a great travel agent, always willing to take the time to look into whatever I needed. He always sounded happy and cheerful, and I really enjoyed working with him. I will miss him. I will remember him and his family in my prayers.

Michael was the best travel agent that I ever had the pleasure of working with.
