Obituary of Orialis Acevedo

Orialis “Ori” Acevedo, 34, fiancé of Jacobo Meza, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 1, 2019.

Ms. Acevedo was born in Brooklyn, NY to Pedro Tezen and Martina Acevedo.  She was a Certified Podiatric Medical Assistant at The Foot Clinic of South Carolina and a member of Disciples Church of the Nazarene.  She enjoyed dancing, bible study, and helping others.  Ori was always happy and was truly the “light of the room.”

Surviving, in addition to her fiancé and parents, are a brother, William Corona and wife Katiusku; and a sister, Jennifer Tezen.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service.  A Celebration of Ori’s Life will be held at 7 p.m. during the visitation, officiated by Pastor Javes Munoz.  A Committal Service will be 12 noon Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
