Obituary of Shirley Thackston Landers

Shirley Thackston Landers, 83, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 28, 2019.

Shirley was born July 23, 1935 to the late Hunter Thackston and Callie Moore Thackston.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving, are her sons, David Landers of Simpsonville, Frankie Landers of Easley and Steve Landers and wife Debbie of Hickory Tavern; two brothers, David Owens and Randy Owens and wife Brenda; two sisters, Dot Stewart with husband and Judy Stewart; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Gerald Thackston and Everett Thackston; two sisters, Aurelia “Sis” Finch and Jane Bishop and one grandchild.

A Memorial Service will be 3pm Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be private.
