Obituary of Jean Gossett Willis

Norma “Jean” Gossett Willis, 82, widow of William “Bill” Lewis Willis, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.

Mrs. Willis was born in Spartanburg, SC to the late Izzie Gossett and Sallie Mae Burgess Gossett.  She was a member of Green Pond United Methodist Church.  Jean enjoyed cooking and gardening, but her greatest love was her family.

Surviving is a son, Brian Willis and wife Crystal; a daughter, Elizabeth Evans; five grandchildren, Hailey Evans, Maribeth Evans, Sam Evans, Tyler Willis, and Ashton Willis.  She was predeceased by a brother, David Gossett; and a sister, Julia Lee.

Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Green Pond United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Brian and Crystal Willis, 1313 Greenpond Road in Fountain Inn.
