When I think of John, I just see his warm smile that came from deep inside. His southern accent and gentle voice always welcomed me to come and play with Kim on Sunday afternoons after church or to spend the night any given Friday or Saturday. He had a heart of gold. I was 7 y.o. when we moved to Greenville for my dad to become the pastor of the church John attended. John made sure my dad was taken care of and comfortable. He hired my dad at the carpet store.....ALL GREAT MEMORIES! What a wonderful man, now an eternal angel. See you again!
