Jean Gail Christenburg Posey, 63, widow of Furman Michael Posey, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 31, 2019.
Mrs. Posey was born in Dillon, SC,
to the late Gene Gather Christenburg and Willie Mae Caulder Williamson. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, playing cards, traveling and fishing. Jean’s main love was spending time with her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Misty Gail Foreman, and Samantha Templeton; a son, Jay Cook; a brother, Tony Christenburg; three sisters, Beverly Cobb, Charlene Watson and Janice Karnap; and seven grandchildren.
A Celebration of Jean’s Life will be 6 p.m. Monday, August 5th, at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Bishop Randy Caulder.
