Obituary of Paul Finley

Paul Francis Finley, 86, husband of the late Sara Faye Lenderman Finley, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 8, 2019.

Mr. Finley was born in Greenville to the late John Quincy Finley and Lucille Williams Finley.  He retired from American Spinning and attended Paris Church of God.  He was a member of the Sam Poe Masonic Lodge #284 and a HEJAZ Shriner.  Paul enjoyed sports and was a USC Gamecock fan.  He was an avid golfer, with his claim to fame being a hole-in-one during a golf tournament. 

Surviving are two sons, Mike Finley and wife Terry, and Tony Finley and wife Gina; two daughters, Belinda Jones and husband Johnny, and Dianne Miller; a sister, Jean Odom; and seven grandchildren, Josh Jones and wife Wendy, Matthew Jones and wife Katy, Jonathan Miller and wife Kayla, Megan Shell and husband T.J., Jack Finley, Lindsey Finley, and Logan Finley; and twelve great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a brother, Charles Finley.

Funeral services will be 1 o’clock Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service.  Burial will be private in Greenville Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
