Shirley Elizabeth McCoy, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 25, 2019.
Ms. McCoy was born in Cross Hill to the late William Enoch McCoy and Frances Louise Connor McCoy. She retired from Woven Electronics and later worked at the Simpsonville Ryan’s Steakhouse. She was a member of Abundant Life Church of God and loved singing in the choir. Shirley enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing and reading.
Surviving are a son, Richard McCoy and wife Donna; two grandchildren, Tyler Busby and wife Samantha, and Taylor Bailey; and two great-grandchildren, Davis Busby and Weston Daves. She was predeceased by a brother, Chat McCoy; and two sisters, Frances Turner and Faye Drummond.
Funeral services will be 11 o’clock Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
Memorials may be made to the Church of God Home for Children, 1810 N.E. Main Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
