Timothy Vaughn Freeman Sr., 63, went to be with the Lord. Mr. Freeman was born in Greer to the late Eddis Wilton Freeman Sr. and Doris Jane Cason Freeman. He retired from Georgetown Memorial Hospital and volunteered many years for Freedom Weekend Aloft. He was a member of Fountain Inn First Baptist Church. Tim was a huge Clemson fan and enjoyed playing golf. He also lettered in track during high school.Surviving are a son, Tim Freeman Jr. and wife Leigha; a brother, Scott Freeman and wife Angie; a twin sister, Tanna Woodson and husband John; a brother-in-law, Dale Bridges; and three granddaughters, Isabelle Freeman, Alyssa Freeman, and Emmalyn Freeman. He was predeceased by a brother, Eddis “Skipper” Freeman Jr.; and a sister, Jayne Bridges.A Celebration of Tim’s Life will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
