Joyce Barton Chappell, 75, widow of Alvin Chappell, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
Mrs. Chappell was born in Greenville County to the late O’Dell R. Barton and Carrie Vaughn Barton. She loved to sing and was a member of Fountain Inn Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving, are two sons, Tony Chappell and Terry Chappell; a daughter, Tina Green and husband, Phillip; five grandchildren, Casey Moon, Matthew Chappell, Travis Green, Brianna Wham and Lexis Chappell; three great-grandchildren, Josh Moon, Lane Wham, Emila Chappell and Aiden Chappell and a brother, Fred Barton. She was predeceased by a grandson, Mark Chappell and six sisters, Easter Robertson, Annie Bell Collins, Bertha Hipps, Edna Griffith, Mildred Brown and Doris Jones.
The family will receive friends 1-2pm Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
Graveside Services will be 2:30pm Friday at Cannon Memorial Park.
