Gloria “Jeanette” Hughes Templeton, 68, widow of Clayton Thomas Templeton went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
Ms. Templeton was born in Laurens to the late Raymond Eugene Hughes and Clara Mae Dockery Hughes. She was a weaver in textiles for many years, enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and loved her Dale, Jr.
Surviving, are a daughter, Melissa Shugart; a son, Chad Coleman; two step-daughters, Tammy Wright and Claudia Hulon; five grandchildren, Chase Coleman, Kyle Coleman, Lila Johnson, Bryce Coleman and Stella Coleman; a sister, Julia Ann Fua (Lance) and a brother, Wayne Hughes (Frances) She was predeceased by a brother, Johnny Mack Hughes and two step-sons, Steven Coleman and Lance Coleman.
The family requests that donations/memorials be made in Ms. Templeton’s name to Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Service 1218 N. Main Street, Fountain Inn, SC 29644. A celebration of Nette’s life will be held at a later date.
