Derek Warren Widener, 19, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 14, 2020.
Derek was born to Lara Hubbard Widener and the late Kenneth Warren Widener, Jr. He was an aspiring musician.
Surviving, in addition to his mother are, a brother, Daniel Widener (Rebecca); three sisters, Anna Bunch (Jason), Elizabeth Foster and Sarah Widener; maternal grandparents, Sam and Jeanette Hubbard; paternal grandmother, Ann Widener; nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn Bunch, Luke Bunch, Haylee Foster and Parker Widener; a special cousin, Zachary Wood, his best friend, CC “Red” Dawson and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Widener.
The family will receive friends from 12-2pm Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Fletcher Funeral Service. A Memorial Service will follow at 2pm.
