Luz Maria Sanchez Martinez Vergara, 76, widow of Jose Emilio Vergara, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 28, 2020.
Mrs. Vergara was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico to the late Benencio and Cecila Martinez. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church for over 40 years. She loved to laugh, have fun, cook Spanish food and pray for everyone.
Lucy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Surviving, are three sons, Jose Vergara, Jesse Vergara and wife Amanda and Will Vergara and wife Christy; two daughters, Hilda Ward and husband Jeff and Jackie Weathers and husband Edward; twelve grandchildren, Cecila Vergara, Josie Vergara, Jada Vergara, Victor Demondo, Harrison Hudson, Jessica Kent and husband Chris, Shelby White and husband Ray, Chris Griggs, Dylan Owens, Jacob Vergara, Benji Vergara and Marly Vergara and twelve great-grandchildren, Jamie Luz Prime and Mia Muneo. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Frances Vergara; three brothers and four sisters.
Funeral Services will be private.
A Memorial Service will be at a later date.
