My cousin Christy was a warm, caring, respectful, lady. We shared many good times as children and young adults. After high school we began our own lives. Christy was someone whom I respected and loved. God blessed many peoples lives with Christy. Condolences to the family and prayers for comfort in this truly heartbreaking time. RIP sweet lady. To all the Meetze family. My heart was heartbroken to hear, but it was only selfish. She was my Sunday school teacher even though I was over the age group. She prayed for me thru my dad's struggle with cancer and every Sunday I showed up exhausted. After her class it got me rejuvenated for another week of care giving. She was a warrior in her fight and showed God's love in all that she did. Her husband and children were her calling and with determination showed all of us how to be a Proverbs 31 woman. Happy Mother's day sweet lady and thank you for being part of the village that raised my sons. You will be greatly missed and I will be praying for all of you. Love Mike and Carol Payne.

The Meetze Family... Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Christie was a wife, Mother, grandmother, daughter, mother in law, sister, and an aunt but first and foremost she was a child of GOD. Her faith was a beautiful thing to witness. She was a Beacon for all of us to follow. Let's all live our lives to meet her again. Our Heavenly Father had her "Robe and Crown" waiting for her on Thursday, and when we look up in the sky at night the most brilliant star will be Christie looking out for all of us. We love you all. Christy taught me in Sunday School, we done seeds of love together ,we sit together in church, we visited at home ,she showed me what a GODLY lady looked like will always cherish our memories....until we meet again love u lady always and forever.....

Christy was a great Christian lady. I have known her for over 20 years and worked with her in Bible School many years ago. She always had a sweet spirit about her and I know we all will miss her. She was an encouragement to me as well as many others.
