Obituary of Lyda Robinson Bobo

Lyda Robinson Bobo, 91, widow of Melvin Leon Bobo, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 14, 2020.
Mrs. Bobo was born in Greenville to the late Gary Nelson Robinson and Mary Pinson Robinson. Lyda loved reading, cooking and decorating. She was a member of Simpsonville United Methodist Church and retired from Kemet/ Union Carbide. Her greatest legacy she leaves is being a loving mother to her children.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Bobo and wife Linda and Gregg Bobo; a daughter Pam Garrett and husband Brown; six grandchildren, Amy Giles and husband Brent, Chris Bobo and wife Tracy, Sean Bobo, Lauren Bobo and Marc Garrett and wife Dana; five great-grandchildren; and dear friend, Amanda Hodgson.
Lyda was the last surviving of seven siblings. She was predeceased by a son Gary Bobo.
Memorial services will be held 10:30am Monday, June 29th at Holy Cross Episcopal Columbarium officiated by Rev. George Rieser.
