Obituary of Robin Lee Inman

Robin Lee Inman, 69, husband to Juanita ‘Janie’ Shears Inman for 45 years, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 6, 2020. Mr. Inman was born in Portland, Maine to the late Alfred and Barbara Maxfield Inman. He was a strong family man who gave them his best. His unique sense of humor always brought friends and family together. He served his country and his community. He was a veteran of the US Army and member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church where he also sang in the choir. Robin attended Clemson University, was an instructor for the Truck Driver Training Program for several years at Greenville Technical College and firearms instructor at the SC Department of Corrections. He loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, shooter, and fisherman. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Theron Inman and Thor (Hanna) Inman; a sister, Jan Inman; and five grandchildren who were the love of his life, pride and joy: Jeremiah Hutchins, Hunter Inman, Teagan Inman, Lex Clack and Quorra Inman. A Mass for Mr. Inman will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 12th, at Our Lady Rosary Catholic Church. Entombment with military honors will be at MJ “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC at a later date. Memorial contributions in Robin’s name may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 3710 Augusta Rd., Greenville, S.C., 29605-1335.
