Gerald Ray Duckworth, 77, husband of Brenda Woods Duckworth for 53 years, met his Jesus, Sunday, February 19, 2023. Mr. Duckworth was born in Laurens to the late Gilbert Madison Duckworth and Edith Cason Wallace Duckworth. He was retired from JD Hollingsworth and an active member of Beulah Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon. Gerald enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and going to the lake, but his greatest love was being around his family. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Kevin Duckworth (Kendel) and Casey Duckworth; three grandsons, Kameron, Kaleb and Kody Duckworth; a sister, Dorothy Duckworth Estes (Ray); a sister-in-law, Janice Duckworth and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Elford Duckworth. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be 11am Wednesday at Beulah Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Beulah Baptist Church Building Fund, 1762 Greenpond Road, Fountain Inn, SC 29644.
