Obituary of Evelyn Masters Knight

Evelyn Masters Knight, 88, widow of Bobby S. Knight, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 10, 2023. Mrs. Knight was born in Simpsonville to the late James Tillman Masters and Bonnie Slatton Masters. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Evelyn enjoyed working in her yard, flower gardening, and spending time with her family. She was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed. Surviving are a son, Ricky Knight and wife Karen; two grandsons, Kevin Knight and Ryan Allen; a brother, Norman Masters and wife Patsy; and a sister, Carolyn Shaw. The family would like extend a special thank you to Janet Hensley and Angie Nelson for their love, support and friendship given to Evelyn over the years. A Graveside Service will be 10 o’clock Thursday at Cannon Byrd Memorial Park, officiated by Pastor Jim Spencer.
