Obituary of Eloise Hubbard Morris

Eloise Hubbard Morris, 81, widow of Jerry Franklin Morris, went to be the Lord, Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Mrs. Morris was born in Columbus, GA to the late Arthur Lafette Hubbard and Carlene Hubbard Swint. She was a member of Standing Springs Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, played the piano and kept the nursery. Eloise loved music and taught piano for 40 plus years. She enjoyed visiting people in nursing homes and giving them gifts. Surviving, are a son, Rick Morris; a daughter, Tracy Beckwith (Mark); three grandchildren, Brooke Beckwith Davis (Tyler), Hunter Beckwith (Alex) and Austin Morris (Aubrey Uhrich); a great-grandchild, Clara Dru Davis and seven nieces, Debbie Stewart, Kim Thorton, Carole Sosebee, Tammie Roach, Tonya Morris, Kim Black and Lori Diddle. Funeral Services will be 1pm Friday at Standing Springs Baptist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
