Obituary of Alexander Theodore Monolo

MONOLO, Alexander Theodore. Born on September 23, 1960, and passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 62.

Beloved husband of Mary for 37 incredible years. Loving and devoted father of Christina (Patrick) Gramith, and Philip (Rachael) Monolo. Proud and adored grandfather of Thomas, Joseph, Vienna, and Antonio. He was predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Gloria, and his sister, Denise Morabito. 

Alex was a proud alumni of Michigan State University, huge car enthusiast, and enjoyed all sports, especially playing golf and pickleball. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by anyone that knew him. 

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17th, from 3-9pm with a 7pm Prayer Service at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc., (Shelby) 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. Funeral Friday, August 18th, Gathering from 9:30am until time of 10am Memorial Mass at St. Kieran Church, 53600 Mound Rd., Shelby Twp., 48316 (Btw. 24 & 25 Mile Rd.).
