Obituary of Arthur Souza

SSG Arthur Souza, USAF Retired, 89, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 2, 2023.

SSG Souza was born in Fall River, Mass to the late Joseph Souza and Maria Arruda Souza.  He retired from the US Air Force and later from the US Postal Service.  Arthur was an avid golfer and also enjoyed bowling.  He was a huge USC Gamecock fan.  Arthur had an outgoing personality tempered with a respectful demeanor.  He was also a good cook.

Surviving are two sons, Mark Souza with wife Jan, and Steve Souza; a daughter, Lisa Souza; a grandson, Anthony Cheslak with wife Michaela; and three great-grandsons, Wade Cheslak, Wilder Cheslak, and Gabriel Cheslak.

Graveside services, with Military Honors, will be 11 o’clock Monday at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
