Obituary of Hazel Bigham

Hazel Lee Teague Bigham, 90, widow of Robert Evans “Bobby” Bigham, Sr., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

 

Mrs. Bigham was born in Woodruff to the late Johnson Hampton Teague and Jessie Lee Adams Teague.  She retired from Union Carbide.  Hazel loved Bluegrass music, reading her bible, and watching The Price Is Right on TV.  She enjoyed fishing, trips to the mountains, and spending time with family and friends.

 

Surviving are four daughters, Jeannie Wilson with husband Mike, Aubrey Ledford, Rachel Craigo with husband Robbie, and Laurie Lopez with husband Bo; a sister, Polly Dover; nine grandchildren, Travis Johnson with wife Amanda, Cody Johnson with wife Tammie, Chris Ledford with wife Dana, Michelle Garcia, Daniel Craigo with wife Lisa, Joseph Ledford with wife Burcu, Joshua Godfrey with wife Anna, Angela Smith with husband Shawn, Kristian Colyard with husband Aaron; twenty-six great-grandchildren, Brent, Lilly, David, Seth, Anslee, Eleanor, Jake, Connor, Blake, Alex, Preston, Teresa, Connor, Olivia, P.D., Alexandria, Hazelee, Luke, Kenna, Ethan, Caleb, William, Olin, Anna, Wade and Wyatt; and three great-great-grandchildren, Neveah, Logan and Adleigh.  She was predeceased by four brothers, Horace “Buddy” Teague, Rev. Bill Teague, Kenneth Teague and Leonard Teague; three sisters, Martha Pearson, Mary Wilson and Audrey Ball; and a grandson, Scotty Johnson.

 

 

The family will receive friends between 2 – 3 o’clock Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service – Woodruff Chapel.

 

Graveside services will be 4 o’clock Sunday at Hopewell UMC Cemetery.

 

Flowers may be delivered to the funeral home at 6995 Hwy 101 N in Woodruff.
