Obituary of Jeff Smith
Jeffrey Scott Smith, 66, husband of Claudia Elizabeth Lee Smith for 41 years, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 25, 2023.
Mr. Smith was born in Wynnewood, PA to William Shelley “Bill” Smith and the late Joan Isabel Mercy Smith. He was an alumna of University of Connecticut and York College of Pennsylvania. He retired from Berry Plastics. Jeff loved deep-sea fishing and surf fishing. He was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and a collector of baseball caps. Jeff enjoyed building computers, woodworking, grilling, and buying stuff in bulk for only 2 people at COSTCO. He could fix just about anything, and spent untold amounts of time and energy teaching his sons some tricks of the trade.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and father, are two sons, Matt Smith with wife Yao-Yao, and Greg Smith; and a brother, Brad Smith with wife Donna.
A Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be on April 14th at 2 o’clock at the home of Claudia Smith.
