Obituary of Mary Fuller

Mary Irene Harvey Fuller, 86, widow of Matthew Clyde Fuller, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 5, 2024.

 

Mrs. Fuller was born in Fork Shoals to the late Allie Harvey and Mary Pauline Harvey.  She was a member of Fountain Inn First Baptist and former member of Emmanuel Praise and Worship.  Mary loved music and sang with a gospel group on WFIS Radio Station for many years.  She retired from Woodside Mills.  She and Matthew loved going to yard sales and the jockey lot looking for deals.  Mary loved animals and genuinely cared about their wellbeing.  She collected Gone With The Wind memorabilia and rooster figurines.  She cherished by MaMa to her grandchildren.

 

Surviving are a daughter, Diane Brown (Keith); three grandchildren, Shannon Shafer (Donnie), Jennifer Collier (Keith) and Joshua Fuller (Elizabeth); seven great-grandchildren, Austin Whitmire (Tiffany), Lacey Martinez (Tito), Zackary Connor (Yoshi), Chase Fuller, Hartly Fuller, Landon Shafer and Rita Shafer and three great-great-grandchildren, Gatlin Martinez, John Whitmire and Ayato Connor.  She was predeceased by a son, Davey Fuller; a grandson, Jonathan Brown; a great-grandson, Matthew Whitmire; and a brother, James Allen Harvey.

 

Funeral Services will be 1 o’clock Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Cannon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
