Obituary of Bobby Kimsey

Bobby Ray Kimsey, 84, husband of Barbara Jean Yvonne Hill Kimsey for 57 years, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 23, 2024.

Mr. Kimsey was born in Dacusville to the late Marcell Kimsey and Zora Belle Irvin.  He was a member of Warrior Creek Baptist Church and was a veteran of the US Marine Corp.  Bobby retired from Cryovac and was a former member of Wallace Masonic Lodge #49.  He enjoyed gardening, working on computers, and collecting Eagle figurines.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Tommy Kimsey; a daughter, Tammy Kimsey; six grandchildren, Brandon Farrow, Brittany Lollis with husband Brandon, Alston Woods with wife Victoria, David Woods, Johnathon Farrow with husband Vince, and Cayla Conviser with husband Zach; and five great-grandchildren, Glenn, Gavin, Bristol, Rowan and Millie.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Patty Kimsey.

A Celebration of Bobby’s Life will be 5 o’clock Tuesday at Warrior Creek Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends for 30 minutes prior to the service.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
