Obituary of Randy Lee Holcombe

Randy Lee Holcombe, 71, husband of Rebecca “Becki” LaBoone Holcombe, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 3, 2021. Mr. Holcombe was born in Danville, VA to the late Benjamin Nimmons Holcombe and Nora Alice Ramey Holcombe. He was an Alumnus of Limestone College. He was a volunteer deputy with Laurens County. He served with the police department of Easley, SC. Mr. Holcombe enjoyed flying and being a handy man. He also formerly served as a deacon at Rabun Creek. He is a member of Family of God Baptist Mission. He loved spending time with his beloved dog, “Precious”. One of his greatest joys was being “Papa” to his grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Brandon Holcombe and wife Ashley; one sister, Fredia Brown and husband, Wayne; and three grandchildren, Christopher, Charolette and Remington Holcombe. He was predeceased by two sisters, Dura Holcombe and Gladys Matthews. A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 3pm at Fletcher Funeral Service. Visitation will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Family of God Baptist Mission Church, 13373 Highway 101 South, Gray Court, SC.
