Brenda Nix, 79, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 15, 2021.
Mrs. Nix was born in Greenville, SC to the late David Earl Owens and Pauline Cora Robertson Owens. She loved animals, especially tigers and wolves. She loved being a mother and grandmother. Brenda loved being on her land where she could listen to music and watch the cows graze.
Surviving is a son, Daniel Lee Taylor; a daughter, Debbie Giles; two grandchildren, Tanya Houtz and Trey Alexander; two great grandchildren, Katelynn Houtz and William David Taylor; nieces, Shelby (Ray) White, Tammy Reece, Deena Gillette, and Paula Owens; a nephew, Dylan Owens; and three best friends, Linda Kickery, Danielle Kickery, and Amy Stribble. She was predeceased by a son, James David Taylor; two brothers, Thomas and Danny Owens; two nieces, Stephanie and Dana Ashley Owens.
Memorial service will be held at 4 o’clock Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by ---. The family will receive guest one hour prior to the service.
