Obituary of Sybil Heflin Spencer

Sybil Heflin Spencer, 70, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 11, 2021.
Mrs. Spencer was born at Fort Clayton in The Canal Zone of Panama to Nona Heflin Johnson and the late Sam Willey Johnson, Sr. When not lost in a good book or crafting, Sybil enjoyed gardening and puzzles. She also grew many beautiful flowers.
Surviving in addition to her mother, are two daughters, Michelle Bailey and husband Landon and Jennifer Wilson and husband Shawn; one brother, Sam Johnson and wife Judy; one sister, Libby Longo and husband John; ten grandchildren, Abigail Bailey, Lillian Bailey, Baylee Bailey, Josephine Bailey, Caleb Wilson, Seth Wilson, Micah Wilson, Grace Wilson, Isaac Wilson, and Levi Wilson; and her dear friend Martha . She was predeceased in death by her son Taylor Spencer and husband Robert Spencer as well as two of her sisters, Lori Johnson and Susie Ginther.
The family would like to thank the staff of Greenville Memorial Hospital for the care and support the they received during this time.
The family will have a private service Thursday at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
