Obituary of Ailene King Tucker

Ailene King Tucker, 88, widow of Billy Tucker, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 13, 2021. Mrs. Tucker was born in Ware Place to the late William Ernest King, Sr. and Eunice Campbell King. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fountain Inn. Ailene loved to dance, cook and play Bingo. She enjoyed attending auctions and yard sales and her Friday visits to the beauty salon. She never met a stranger and believed in visiting her family and friends. In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing and loved the beach. Surviving are two daughters, Darlene Franklin (Randy) and Gail Cobb (Ronnie); five grandchildren, Tonya Franklin, Shelly Felder (Bryan), Miranda Mizell (Erik), Heather Crick and Chris Tucker; twelve great-grandchildren, Taylor Barrett (Nick), Brice Leopard, Justin Simpson, Olivia Felder, Emily Rider, Carson Felder, Tucker Crick, Mallory Mizell, Grant Mizell, Mac Crick, Jase Mizell and Madelyn Mizell; and two great-great-grandchildren, Presley and Mathew Barrett. She was predeceased by a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kathy Tucker; a brother, Ted King; and three sisters, Jo Burgess, Norma Vaughn and Liz Tucker. The family will receive friends between 2:30-3:30 pm Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Sunday in the mausoleum chapel at Cannon Memorial Park.
