Obituary of Yvonne Leopard Smith

Yvonne Leopard Smith, 74, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 20, 2021. Born in Fountain Inn, she was the daughter of the late MC Leopard and Ferona Leona Suttles Leopard. She retired from Hillcrest Hospital after more than 20 years of service and then later from Simpsonville Mills. She was a member of Fountain Inn Church of God of Prophecy. Yvonne had a heart for serving others. She was the primary caregiver for her sisters and enjoyed spending time with her family. Yvonne is survived by her son, Eddie Jr. Hall and his wife Evelyn; her daughter, Marie Cooley; a brother, MB Leopard; her two sisters, Eva Hyman and Marie Leopard; son-in-law, Doug Cooley; her grandchildren, Ben Hall and husband Eric Wu, Andrea H. Houska, Devan Cooley, Andy Smith, Zackery Burns, Autumn Burns, and Alivia Hall; and three great-grandchildren, Aiden Morrison, Elijah Houska and Leah Houska. She was predeceased in death by her son, Wayne Smith; two brothers, Vernon Leopard and Earnest Leopard; and her sister, Patricia Leopard. Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 6-8pm at Fletcher Funeral Service. A Celebration of Yvonne’s life will be Monday, 2pm at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Stephen Christopher. Burial will follow in Cannon Byrd Memorial Park.
