Obituary of Edward Lewis Shoff

Edward “Ed” L. Shoff, 94, husband of 72 years to Faye Thorne Shoff, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021. Mr. Shoff was the son of the late Roy H. Shoff and Vera Alice Turner Shoff. He was a World War II US Army veteran. He and his family formerly resided in Salem, OH. He retired in 1982 from Ohio Edison Company. He and family also resided in Charlotte, NC for 25 years and then moved to Greenville in 2008. Ed and Faye attended Fellowship Greenville Church. He is survived by his wife, Faye; his three sons, Jack E. Shoff and wife Mary of Florida, James A. Shoff of South Carolina, and Rev. Jay S. Shoff and wife Sheri of Illinois; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; his brother, Clyde of Salem, OH; two sisters, Mildred of Warren, OH and Iva of New York. Graveside services with military honors will be 10 o’clock Thursday at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Jay Shoff.
