Obituary of Carol Leavesley Culbreth

Carol Leavesley Culbreth, 75, widow of Rev. James “Jim” Culbreth, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 26, 2021. Mrs. Culbreth was born in Madison, WV to the late Thomas Dale Leavesley and Ruth Meschter Swingle Leavesley. She was an alumnus of the University of West Florida. Carol retired from Greenville County Schools and served with her husband in his ministries. She was a strong Christian with a gentle spirit. Surviving are a son, Ben Culbreth; a daughter, Tess Styles; two brothers and their wives, Tom and Jan Leavesley, and Paul and Karen Leavesley; and a grandson, Slade Styles. Graveside services will be 10 o’clock Monday at Five Forks Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Bill Cole.
