Obituary of Thomas Harold Nabors

Thomas Harold Nabors, 88, husband of Martha Ross Nabors, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Born in Simpsonville, Thomas was the son of the late Worthy Blythe Nabors and Nellie Alverson Nabors. He was a veteran of the US Army and member of Upstate Church in Mauldin. Thomas retired from Cryovac after more than 40 years of service. He loved his church and previously served as deacon. Surviving in addition to this wife, are two daughters, Shanda Owens and husband Marc, and Susan Whitworth and husband Scott; his sister, Estelle King; seven grandchildren, Benjamin Nabors, Cody Alexander, Preston Owens, Madison Owens, Michael Whitworth, Ashley Owens and Jeremy Whitworth; and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, Kenneth Nabors and James Nabors; his brother Worthy Nabors, Jr.; his sister, Doris Barnette; and grandson, Walter Knight. Funeral services will be held 1pm Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial with military honors will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
