Obituary of Carrie "Kitty" Corn Leapard

Carrie “Kitty” Corn Leapard, 94, widow of Charles Aaron Leapard, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 1, 2017.
Mrs. Leapard was born in Etowah, NC to the late William Raleigh and Annie McElrath Corn. She was the class president of Mauldin High School in 1939, an Alumna of Anderson College and a member of Mauldin First Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Don Leapard and Lee Leapard (Deana); two grandchildren, Charlie Leapard (Erika) and Chad Leapard (Greta); two great grandchildren, Hanna and Rylie Leapard and a beloved Chihuahua, Gidget. She was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters.
Funeral Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Mauldin First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
