Obituary of Fredda Louise Perry Monroe

Fredda Louise Perry Monroe, 68, widow of Terry Gene Monroe II, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Mrs. Monroe was born in Tampa, FL to John Franklin “Punk” Perry and Trudy Shirley Perry. She was a graduate of the Mastin School of Nursing and retired from the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health. She was a veteran of the Alabama National Guard. Fredda loved horseback riding, fly-fishing, camping, and riding bicycles. She enjoyed shopping and was known as a “fashionista.” She collected carousels and dachshund figurines and was an advocate of rescuing dogs. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a brother and his wife, Keith and Frances Perry. A Celebration of Fredda’s Life, with Nursing Honors, will be 5 o’clock Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Father Michael Flanagan.
