Dale was one of the most positive, energizing, momentum-building people I’ve known. Although I did not work closely with Dale on a daily basis, 100% of my interactions with Dale over my 8 years at Barry-Wehmiller were infused with his commitment to the company and the team, his drive to do things well, his energy for personal growth and development and his incredible positive spirit and sense of humor. I can only imagine the loss that his family is experiencing because I know that the Barry-Wehmiller light shines a little less brightly without him.

Dale was an amazing person and my memories with him at Barry-Wehmiller have remained bright throughout the past 15 years. Our paths crossed at early parts of my career and I was constantly inspired by his dedication to himself, the team, and the Hayssen organization. He participated in the earliest of Barry-Wehmiller University experiences, laying a foundation of what was to come. He not raised his hand to grow himself (he was in fact Class 1 of our leadership course), but personally took on the the mission to grow others as a Professor of Communication Skills Training within Barry-Wehmiller University. He will sorely be missed and I am sending thoughts and prayers to his family, friends, and all of those who had the pleasure of working with him.

Crosby Family,
My deepest sympathies to Dale’s entire family. He was well known across Barry-Wehmiller and truly touch a lot of lives he worked with, mostly with a laugh. I had the pleasure of working with him since he started at Hayssen. I enjoyed all the time Dale gave me, doing Project Management work together, and just listening. He will be greatly missed by many. We will keep him in our thoughts and hearts forever. Thank You Dale - RIP.

When I think of Dale, I immediately think of how well he held an audience. His laugh was infectious and he was dedicated to the task he was assigned. A true leader and a true ambassador of the Barry-Wehmiller Culture to be people centric, and this was evident everyday. I'll miss not working with Dale, and not having him as a soundboard. He'll never be forgotten. My deepest condolences to Dales family, my thoughts are with you.

I worked with Dale at BW Flexible Systems as one of my first jobs. He was so kind and patient with a young woman who knew nothing about technology. He had such a friendly, peaceful way about him. My prayers to his family!

Dale Crosby was always smiling, laughing, joking and sharing his knowledge and can-do attitude with all he encountered. He was the most enthusiastic team member! He will be remembered for a long time by all who thought the world of him and treasured his kindness. I most remember Dale for the things he did to make work fun. In the photos you can see that he taught some of us how to line dance, he volunteered for committees so that we could have fun events and everyone who ever attended a Kid's Christmas party at Hayssen will remember the time he spent preparing the children for Santa. Crystal, Aaron and Ivey, your husband and father was a great human! May our Lord grant you peace and comfort and surround you with his loving arms and fill you with his grace. You will continue to be in my thoughts and Prayers.

I wanted to do this in person, however, knowing Dale, I knew there were be a huge crowd. I wanted to let you know how much joy Dale brought to everyone. He brightened up every room he entered, lightened the mood of everyone he was around. He always had time for anyone and just such fun to be around. He will be missed by everyone that has met him! I will continue to pray for you and your family for grace and solace and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Dale was one of the funniest people I've ever met in my life.
His smile helped me in several situation.
Riposa in pace amico mio.

Dale,
Thank you for always being so calm, collected and happy. Sorry you had to deal with me and my "transition" from Government to private work. You inspire me to be a better colleague, nice and calm wins over too much excitement and drama in work situations. Thank you for showing me the way, putting others first and with a smile. Prayers to your family and to all the people you touched with your amazing self. Hope we can drink some Tito's again someday. Thank you for everything

Dale immediately put people at ease with his warmth and kindness. So much so that I asked him to lead projects that involved multiple locations with differing cultures and the participants had strong egos. Dale once asked why I chose him to lead given the experience of others on the team. Simple, I said, you are my ambassador of kindness. Lots of people are smart - including Dale - but few had his ability to make everyone feel heard and valued. Dale leaves behind a legacy I hope continues in all the lives he touched.

Dale was my friend and also a colleague. We met just over 21 years ago and he quickly convinced me he was a character with character. We worked together, we talked about life, and we had some good times. Dale had skills, talent, intelligence, and humor. Meetings about projects can be boring, but he could make you feel like it was fun and get it done. Mostly, he was my inspiration. He kept me wanting to come to work just to be with my friends.
One of my favorite Dale stories, and there are too many to list much less share here; Dale liked his tech toys and during his first trip to the UK he had a dash cam video he wanted to share with the IT team on the big projector screen. His trip included driving on winding roads along the beautiful English countryside. His narration of what we were watching was excellent and entertaining. After a few minutes of this we were all thoroughly car sick. At nearly the same moment we all started yelling for him to stop the car video. He just couldn't imagine why we reacted so strongly. After a few threats he stopped. His expression was hilarious. And we never did that again.
Dale was ONE in a Billion and I will miss him every day for a very very long time. Goodbye my friend. May your network always be fast and free.

Dale was the first person I worked with at Barry Wehmiller after the Company I worked for was acquired by Hayssen.
He was warm and open from day one and we shared many stories together.
Over the years our paths went in subtly different directions but whenever we spoke, he was always warm, caring and kind, never a cross word to say.
Dale was a positive influence on all he touched. I am so very sorry he has been taken so early.
My thoughts are with his family.

I have known Dale for last 20 years working for Barry Wehmiller. I have worked on and off with him for most of those years until recently when we have formed our packing team. Dale was our Project Management Leader. We couldn't even spell Project Management at our company. In a short time have lead our organization to a much better place we he left it. Dale was most certainly a bright shinning star at BW. He always made an impression on me that I would never forget. I will greatly miss Dale from his inspirational leadership, funny stories, great personality, and just a kind and caring gentleman. I will never forget you Dale!!!
Sincerely,
Andy Slettum

I have many fond memories of Dale over the years. But my most impactful is of the many times he emceed the annual children's Christmas parties at Hayssen. He was one of the most genuinely positive and edifying people I've ever met. He was generous with his time. And he was always making everyone around him laugh. It was an honor to work with him for nearly 16 years. And it was a privilege to consider him a friend. I'm sad to know he's not here. But I'm reassured by the knowledge that I will see him again one day. Dale still owes me a ping-pong rematch. And I plan to collect!
To Crystal, Aaron, Ivy and the rest of the family: I pray for God's peace and comfort for you in the coming days. And I pray that the fond memories of Dale, shared with friends and family, help to assuage the pain you feel at his loss.
