Obituary of Timothy Perry Bost

Timothy “Tim” Perry Bost, 64, husband of Ann Hawkins Bost for 40 years, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Mr. Bost was born in Gastonia, NC to the late Thomas Lee Bost and Lois Jane Whitworth Bost. He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard. Tim enjoyed fishing, gardening and building things. He loved to cook and spend time with his family. Surviving is a son, Lee Bost and wife Kayla; a daughter, Aleigh Gunby and husband Joseph; a brother, Larry Bost and wife Denise; eight grandchildren, Abrianna Patterson, Savannah Bost, Alyssa Bost, Brinleigh Blanton, Mason Bost, Keaton Gunby, Lily Gunby, and Cooper Gunby. A Celebration of Tim’s Life will be 7 o’clock Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends an hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105; or Shriners Children’s Hospital, 950 West Faris Road Greenville, SC 29605.
