Obituary of Gary Rhea Goodman

Gary Rhea Goodman,71, husband of Beth Ann Briggs Goodman for 29 years, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Mr. Goodman was born in Greencastle, IN to Juanita Tharp Goodman and the late Marion “Midge” L. Goodman. While living in Greencastle, Gary and Beth were members of Hanna Street Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Lions Club in Greencastle, IN where he served as President. Gary was employed as a photographer for Banner Graphic. Gary and Beth resided in Simpsonville, SC for the last 20 years. He was currently employed at the Walmart Distribution Center in the Asset Protection Department. Gary enjoyed playing golf and watching sports with Beth. He was also an avid Cubs fan. Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, is a son, Joseph Goodman and wife Sarah; a brother, Larry Goodman and wife Carmen; a sister, Vickie Smith and husband Dan; three grandchildren, Rachelle Bennett-Goodman, Jayden Goodman, and Jaxon Goodman. He was predeceased by a sister, Lynn Winkler.
