Obituary of Gary Edward Pfeiffer

Gary Edward Pfeiffer, 88, widower of Daisy Petz Pfeiffer, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Mr. Pfeiffer was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Edward E Pfeiffer and Margaret Gastle Pfeiffer. He was an artistic craftsman, avid Buffalo Bills fan, member of the American Legion and the VFW. Gary was a veteran of the US Navy having served in Korea aboard the USS Furse from 1952 to 1956. After his Navy service he worked for Niagara Mohawk for 40 years and then retired. Surviving, are three sons, Gary Pfeiffer and wife Tina, Doug Pfeiffer and wife Ping and Wayne Pfeiffer and wife Lisa; a step-daughter, Paula Joy; two sisters, Carol Brooks and husband Gary and Judy Dermont; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by step-daughter, Cindi Lapaglia-Heagle and brother, Lee Pfeiffer. A Celebration of Life will be 5pm on Friday October 15th at Fletcher Funeral Service in Fountain Inn. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In Lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in his memory to be sent in appreciation to the staff at the Springs in Simpsonville.
