Obituary of Tyler Watford

Tyler Elmo Watford, 95, husband to the late Bernice Folsom Watford, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 25, 2021.
Mr. Watford was born in Darlington, SC to the late Alton Tyler Watford and Lillian Elizabeth Kea Watford. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy. Tyler was the owner and operator of B&C Cleaners. He was a member of Standing Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, but his greatest joy came in sharing the gospel with others.
Surviving are a son, Tyler Watford, Jr. and wife Carolyn; a daughter, Shirley Huckaby and husband Glenn; three sisters, Velvelyn Strickland and husband Phillip, Helen Messerli and husband Doug, and June Walling and husband Robert; five grandchildren, Brad Watford, Rhonda Duncan, Josh Watford, Rob Cagle, and Tracy Cox with husband Eric; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Gardner.
Funeral services, with Military Honors, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the mausoleum chapel at Graceland East Memorial Park.
