Obituary of Stanley Edward Reeves

Please share a memory of Stanley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Stanley (Bud) Edward Reeves passed away in Greenville, SC on October 26, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. Stan was born on October 25, 1954 in Johnstown, PA. He was the middle child of 3 sons. He was a United States Navy and Vietnam Veteran who served his country proudly. After leaving the Navy, Stan worked for many years at Cryovac and retired in 2019, when he spent his time working on his house and land. Stan was a simple man who loved fishing, baking delicious pies, cooking chili, and, of course, his Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved hearing stories of his grandchildren’s adventures, discussing the weather, sending his family the silliest dad jokes and talking about sports with his sons. Stan was predeceased by his daughter Jennifer King and his mom Elizabeth Reeves. He is survived by his father Loren Reeves, brothers Randy and Carly, sons Steven Reeves and Kristopher Reeves, daughter-in-law Tiffany Reeves and grandchildren Nikki, Camelia, Morgan, Jack, Alexander, and Annie. “As long as we remember a person, they’re not really gone. Their thoughts, their feelings, their memories, they become a part of us.” - Justin Cronin.
